President Kenyatta directs all Cabinet Secretaries to get Covid-19 jab

President Uhuru Kenyatta has directed the entire executive members to get the Covid-19 vaccine, State House Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita has confirmed.

" As the government scales up the rollout of the national covid-19 vaccination 

program, H.E the president has directed his entire cabinet and executive officers to lead by example by getting the jab, " Nzioka tweeted.

Kenya received its first batch of AstraZeneca  vaccine in early March. The first phase of the vaccine exercise targets 1.25 million frontline workers and persons aged above 58 years.
