Barrack Obama's grandmother, Sarah Obama is dead

Sarah Obama, ex-United States President Barrack Obama is dead, her family has confirmed.

Mama Sarah Obama died at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu while undergoing treatment.She was 99.

Speaking to a local news outlet , mama Obama's daughter Marsat Onyango said her mother has been unwell for sometime.

"It's true she went to be with her Lord, " She said.

In his message of condolences, President Uhuru Kenyatta mourned Mama Sarah as an icon of a family values and a philanthropist whose contribution will be dearly missed
