Two people were arrested in Mombasa Old Town on Tuesday over drug trafficking as heroin worth Ksh.6 million was recovered from their house.
The house was raided by the police and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) who recovered two packages that contained 2 kilograms of brownish granules.
After marking the two packages, the officers arrested the two suspects, 53-year-old Said Aboobakar Bajun and 52-year-old Mwanasomo Mohamed Bajun.
The marked packages were then taken to the government chemist where it was confirmed to be heroin weighing 2003 grams with a street value of Ksh.6 million.
