Nairobi City Stars coach Sanjin Alagic has said that the team is in search for a ‘fine striker’ to solve their goalscoring problems in the FKF Premier League.
They have already secured Timothy Bolton Omwenga from Tanzania Premiership side Biashara United as he has signed a one-and-a-half-year deal.
Even though the signing of the former Nzoia Sugar FC, Kariobangi Sharks and KCB left-back was a great step, Alagic says the priority now is to find an excellent striker.
The Bosnian coach said, “We want to sharpen our attacking department and ensure that we get more goals and just win matches. We need a proven goal-scorer to help us in attack,” the Bosnian said.
City Stars are in the 13th position on the FKF-PL standings. They are set host basement side Zoo Kericho FC in their weekend fixture on Saturday.
