A Nairobi businesswoman who had gone missing was found dead with her body mutilated and her eyes gorged out.
The body was discovered by DCI officials who are said to have been guided to the place by some of the suspects that had been held over her disappearance.
Reports indicate that Maina was last seen at Stima Plaza in Ngara and her vehicle was found dumped near Gatina Primary School in Kawangware.
Her friend and churchmate Mercy Gitiri together with Edwin Otieno, Stephen Oduor and Samuel Okoth have been arrested and arraigned before Kibera senior resident magistrate Renee Kitagwa.
According to the police, a business deal gone wrong could have been the cause of the 38-year-old's death.
