In a wedding in Malaysia, a bride asked her husband-to-be if she could hug her ex-boyfriend one last time, stunning the groom even as he gave her the go-ahead.
The woman, known as @mayangkumay on TikTok, shared a video that a guest took of her and her husband at their wedding reception, showing the surprising situation. The video has over 5.5 million views on TikTok.
The bride and groom are seen greeting their guests, one of which is the bride's ex-boyfriend. The ex walks up to the couple to congratulate them on their marriage, offering to shake the bride's hand, but she turns to the groom and asks him whether she can hug the ex one last time.
The bride then gives the ex a warm hug after the groom's permission. The groom also resorts to hugging the bride's ex who stretched his hand toward him with gratitude for a handshake.

According to majority of the viewers, the husband-to-be deserved better as they noticed his "hurt" expression.
