Uganda opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi better known as Bobi Wine on Monday said he is withdrawing a court case challenging the Presidential election results that handed victory to incumbent Yoweri Museveni citing bias by judges.
" We have decided to withdraw from their court, ”Mr Bobi Wine announced
Bobi Wine, a pop star turned politician was seeking the court to overturn Museveni's win over claims of widespread voter fraud and use of violence.
Museveni was declared the winner of the January 14th polls with 59 per cent of the votes while Wine garnered 35%.
" The courts are not independent, its clear the judges are working for Mr Museveni, " He added.
