Its all system go for the Building Bridges Initiative constitutional amendment bill after it on Tuesday surpassed the 24 counties threshold required in law.
This comes as 16 more assemblies simultaneously approved the bill raising the tally to 30 counties.
While Speaking on Saturday Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga exuded confidence that the bill will hit its threshold christening today as a super Tuesday.
The development now paves way for the bill to head to National Assembly for debate.
The latest counties to adopt the bill include ; Kakamega, Narok, Makueni, Nyamira, Taita Taveta, Kitui, Bungoma, Murang'a, Machakos, Lamu , Nyeri, Nyandarua , Garissa and Kirinyaga.
So far only Baringo County Assembly has rejected the bill.
