Tomas Trucha resigns as AFC head coach

49-year-old Czech coach has resigned barely eight weeks after taking over the coaching job at Kenyan football giants AFC Leopards.

This comes barely five d⁦ays after Trucha, who joined Ingwe on a two-year deal, guided  the club to a 2-1 win over Tusker FC in their opening match of the 2020/2021 FKF Premier League season.

Close sources say that Trucha's deputy Anthony Kimani is set to be elevated back to the head coach role ahead of their Sunday game against Bidco United.

Trucha was nowhere to be seen as the team trained leaving the job to Kimani, team manager Tom Juma and goalkeeper trainer Lawrence Webo.
