Chaotic scenes were witnessed on Tuesday during the ongoing Msambweni parliamentary by election when Nyali MP Mohammed Ali alias Moha Jicho Pevu clashed with his Mvita counterpart Abdulswamad Sherrif over voter bribery claims .

The lawmaker ran into trouble during his visit to Boga's home turf of Mworoni primary school in Ukunda township
Claims of voter bribery and other forms of electoral fraud marred Msambweni by-election on as soon as the polling centres were opened on the early morning of Tuesday, December 15.
Two opposing camps led by Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) candidate Omar Boga and independent aspirant Faisal Bader both pointed accusing fingers at each other.
The Msambweni parliamentary seat fell vacant following area MP Suleiman Dori's death in March 2020 after a cancer battle
