An 18-year-old boy from Nakuru, Kenya has secured an invitation to take part in trials with Manchester United from April 2021.
Godson Chagema is confident he will impress the scouts and confesses that for him it's a dream come true.
Chegema, an ambitious goalkeeper sat for his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations in 2019 at Kivumbini Secondary School.
The teenager cutrently turns out for Deliverance Football Club, a team sponsored by Deliverance church.
Born and brought up in Kivumbini Estate, mostly associated with crime in Nakuru, the youngster is keen to defy all odds and make a name for himself in football.
For Chagema all he wants is to succeed and be a role model to the young youths who have lost hope and engaged in drugs and crime to earn a living, adding he will take his training seriously.
“I look forward to succeeding. All I need is to be a role model to my fellow youths that they may know talent and skills can change one’s life,” he said.
