CS Kagwe directs county governments to advertise vacancies for health workers

Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has directed county governments to advertise vacancies for health workers who are on strike.

Mutahi urged over 8,000 unemployed nurses to apply for the vacancies once counties advertise the positions.

“I want to urge the unemployed nurses to apply for this vacancies but as much as we are calling for replacement of the striking health workers we are still appealing to the unions to soften their stance,"he said 

The CS was speaking on Saturday on the sidelines of the funeral of former Cabinet Minister Joseph Nyagah in Mbeere, Embu County.
