The late Matungu MP Justus Murunga's alleged lover has has filed a case in court to stop his burial, claiming that the deceased sired her children.

In an affidavit, she says her two children are biological children of the late MP.

The woman, Agnes Wangui, intends to stop the widows of Murunga - Christabel and Grace and Lee Funeral Home from conducting the burial.

Through her lawyer Danstan Omari, Ms Wangui also sought an order for DNA samples collection from the deceased and her children to confirm their paternity.

The woman wants the samples collected in the presence of licensed pathologists before the remains of the deceased are released from Lee Funeral Home.

The woman said the deceased rented a house for her in Ruai after they were blessed with their first child in their romantic relationship.

However, according to reports, when Murunga won the his Matungu Parliamentary seat in 2017 his relationship with her began hitting rock bottom.
