Mohamed Salah made his first appearance for Liverpool when they faced Atalanta at Anfield in UEFA Champions league match.

Liverpool have fallen two goals behind at home in the Champions League for the first time since Oct 2014 v Real Madrid (3).
It was a fully deserved result for Atalanta who were the better team from start to finish. The group is wide open and the team that drops points will make way into the Europa League.
Liverpool still leads Group D with 9 points while Atalanta and Ajax tie with 7 points each.
Liverpool face Brighton in the weekend for the Premier League campaign.
