Kenya records 559 new cases of COVID-19

Kenya has recorded 559 new cases of COVID-19 is the last 24 hours. The new cases are from 3,074  samples .

This now brings the country’s caseload to 70, 804.

Addressing the press at Afya House on Monday Health CS Mutahi Kagwe further revealed that 8 doctors are among the 274 who have been killed by COVID-19 this month.

At the same time  478 recoveries were registered during the same period bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 46,244.

18 people however succumbed to the disease bringing the total number of  fatalities  to 1,287.
