Southampton beat Everton two goals to nil at home to end the league leaders' unbeaten run.
James Ward-Prowse and Che Adams scored first half goals as Southampton beat Everton. Both goals were set up by Danny Ings.
Danny Ings played a one-two with Ward-Prowse in the 27th with James putting it in from inside the area to the far-left corner.
Danny crossed to the far post for Adams to fire it low into the net eight minutes later.
Everton's hope for a come-back were shattered when Lucas Digne was sent off after fouling Kyle Walker-Pieters in the 72nd minute
Everton are still top with a goal difference advantage over second placed Liverpool with a tie 13 points.
