538 new Covid-19 cases were recorded on Saturday, pushing the total caseload in the country to 41,158.
The new cases are from 6,872 samples tested in the last 24 hours, this now brings the cumulative tests to 586,911.
Out of the 538 cases ,108 are females and 430 are males aged between 1 year and 85 years old.
496 of the cases are Kenyans while 42 are foreign nationals.
At the same time the total number of recoveries rose to 30,937 after 61 patients recovered from the disease.
From the 61 ,21 were discharged from different hospitals while 40 were from the Home-Based Care Program.
Five people however succumbed to the disease raising the death toll to 760.
