An Asian worker was charged in Dubai Criminal court for attempting to murder his colleague with a knife following a quarrel.
The quarrel had happened back in January which occurred between the defendant and the victim.
A witness told the court that he saw the defendant hiding under the staircase of a building before he saw the victim heading towards him.
"After suffering from injuries and bleeding in the head, the defendant disappeared for sometime and was later seen heading to the victim with a knife, while a number of people were trying to stop him, but, later the defendant managed to reach the victim and stabbed him," the witness said.
The defendant confessed the incident of attempted murder and the Court ordered him to be remanded in custody pending prosecution
