Raila jets back into the country after week-long UK trip

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party Leader Raila Odinga has jetted back to the country after a weeklong  tour in the United Kingdom (UK).

Following his return,Odinga is expected to join his troops in the ongoing nationwide  Azimio la Umoja presidential campaigns.

 The Azimio La Umoja brigade is expected to tour the  Rift Valley region.

Mr Odinga was accompanied to the UK by a host of allies who include governors Charity Ngilu (Kitui) and Hassan Joho (Mombasa), COTU boss Francis Atwoli , former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth, Siaya Senator James Orengo and Suna East MP Junet Mohammed.

During his UK tour, Odinga laid out his agenda for Kenyans once he is elected the president.

The ODM leader met with UK's Minister for Armed Forces James Heappey and  Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby before making an address at the Commonwealth Secretariat and at the influential Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House.
