Nationwide curfew extended by 30 more days

The government has extended the nationwide curfew for a further 30 days as part of the measures to curb the Covid-19 pandemic.

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe while announcing the extension on  Monday attributed the decision to extend the curfew to the country's Covid-19 positivity rate which he said is still high hence the need to extend the containment measure.

The curfew hour remains 10pm-4am.
