PSC declare 2 EACC Commissioners post vacant

The Public Service Commission has advertised for two positions at the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission following the resignation of two commissioners.

Commissioners Dabar Abdi Maalim and Rose Mghoi Macharia tendered their resignation on September 1.

PSC said the applicants must be degree holders with experience of not less than 10 years in matters Law and Public Administration as well as Ethics and Governance.


The successful candidate who will be shortlisted will undertake their interviews between September 15th -16.

"Due to the strict statutory guidelines, interviews will be conducted on 15th and 16th September,2021.Shortlisted candidates will be informed by telephone and email on 14th September, 2021 applicants are therefore required to provide the required contact details,” the PSC notice read in part 

The commission has also called on Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)and those from the marginalized communities to apply for the vacant positions.


Maalim and Macharia were among four commissioners who took oath of office in 2016 and were to serve for a term of six years.


The other two commissioners are Sophia Lepuchirit and Mwaniki Gachoka.
