Bruno Isohi Shioso, a former deputy head of the Banking Fraud Investigation Unit has been named the new National Police Service spokesperson.
Shioso who takes over from Charles Owino who was transferred to the Kenya National Focal Point and Small Arms and Light Weapons in May and named the deputy director was unveiled on Tuesday.
"Bruno Shioso is the new Police Spokesman,” Inspector General of Police Hilary Mutyambai said Tuesday
Shioso had prior to his deployment served at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
He also served as the personal assistant of former Directorate of Criminal Investigations boss Ndegwa Muhoro.
He becomes the third police spokesperson for NPS.
The immediate former spokesperson served for 10 years.
