The National Cohesion and Integration Commission has summoned 10 politicians to appear before it on Monday on claims of instigating political violence during the recently concluded mini-Polls in Matungu and Kabuchai constituencies.

Addressing the press on Saturday, the commission's chairman Dr Samuel Kobia said they will through the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission(EACC) and the judiciary initiate the process of removing the named leaders from office for contravening chapter six of the constitution.

The leaders include, Gladys Wanga, Millicent Omanga, Aisha Jumwa, Cleophas Malala, John Waluke , Benjamin Washiali, Fred Kapondi, Charles Were and Chris Wamalwa.
"We are not just seeking criminal justice we also want these leaders and others like them to be out of office forthwith once they behave in that dishonorable and shameful way,” said NCIC Chair Dr.  Kobia

Last month the commission  named MPs Johana Ng'eno, Silvanus Osoro and Simba Arati and former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko in the list of shame .
