Evans Momanyi ,a landlord accused of pouring sewage into one of his tenat house at Raila village in Langata sub county, Nairobi was arraigned in court on Tuesday.
Police reports show that Momanyi allegedly drilled the roof of his tenant's house and spilled the sewage into the house wetting her bed and other household items.
Allegedly, the landlord made the mess right fter a rent dispute with his tenant identified as Caroline Nyakerario.
During their altercation, the intervention of a village elder was not enough such that he advised them to turn to local authorities for assistance.
Police arrested Momanyi and charged him with the offence committing a breach of peace contrary to the Penal Code.
However, the landlord denied the charges before Kibera Law Courts senior principal magistrate Sharon Maroro .
Momanyi was released on a cash bail of Sh10,000.
The case will be mentioned on November 16th.
