Baby Pendo's mother, Loice Achieng has cautioned politicians not to incite Kenyans against each other and to watch what they say.
Pendo's father, Joseph Abanja, also made a plea to President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga to remain united so that there's no more bloodshed after their handshake.
"Let my baby's blood be the last to be spilled," he said.
He also urged Mr Kenyatta not to forget his family as they have been suffering since their baby was killed, to which Mr Kenyatta responded by raising his arms with his hands clasped together.
